Let me start off with saying Kristen is super informative, efficient, thorough, and upfront. I had all the information I needed sent to me on a perfect timeline.
I found Kristen Jones Boudoir through the Facebook group! I'm always baffled by the gorgeous photos. I don't live in Columbus (we move all over the country), so it took me a while before I committed to a session. Following the Facebook group made me really want to do a boudoir shoot, so I decided to look for photographers closer to me. However, I couldn't find anyone whose style and images matched what I wanted, like Kristen's work did. Eventually, I moved to Ohio and decided driving 2 hours was absolutely worth the boudoir session with Kristen.
I wanted to cancel a couple of times, due to nerves. I'm actually really glad it takes a financial commitment or else it would've been forever until I followed through with doing the session. Knowing the client closet was available for the shoot relieved a TON of stress!
Kristen is very real and honest and hilarious, so my nerves immediately melted away. I felt silly for the first photo - I'm not great at posing. Thankfully, Kristen showed me every pose I needed to do and every move and adjustment I needed to make.
I almost cried when I saw the images at the Image Reveal + Ordering appointment. I tried to narrow down the photos I wanted, but it seemed impossible! I loved them all!

Kristen is a gem, a true joy, and so talented. Throughout the session, I was hit by praise and encouragement, and I truly felt beautiful and empowered. Kristen, you're such a talent and the photos were amazing! Kristen really showed me how to pose, hand placements, and what looked good. I never felt lost or too self-conscious.
Her studio is so inviting, beautiful, and so cool! She has outfits for you to pick and there's a ton to choose from. Overall, a great experience!
I recommend if you're needing some confidence, body self love, or just for a fun time! We were dancing, singing, and shaking off the nerves. I couldn't have asked for a better time or person.

if you are at all on the fence, DO THE THING. I've tried having photos done with other companies and I never ended up ordering anything because I felt less like a human and more like a way for them to make money. My session with Kristen was completely different. She was so funny and kind and the whole thing felt like spending time with a friend. In short, DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!

I had my first (certainly not the last) experience with Kristen in her studio. What an AMAZING day it was! I HIGHLY recommend booking a session with her! The studio was fabulous, her energy was amazing, and the photographs are breathtaking! She has an INCREDIBLE eye for capturing your own unique beauty. I can't believe I waited so long to do this. I first found Kristen on TikTok. She popped up on my fyp and I quickly saw that she was located only an hour and a half from me- so I started following her. What caught my attention was how much she praised all body types. When you watch movies and look online, most boudior photos are of basic VS models. Never the curvy girls. Never the ones with the c-section pooch. And never the ones with cellulite. I have ALL of that. And while I used to hate it and feel ashamed by it, this group and Kristen made me realize that it's totally and completely normal. Joining this Godess group made my confidence go . I will continue to support this group and Kristen until I die!
I booked back in April to take advantage of her payment plan option! Utilize that! This is a day for you- make the most of it and go all out! But waiting months and months for my day to come had my nerves and anxiety at an all time high. I thought about canceling so many times. Even up to the week before. I even texted my husband 1 minute away from the studio saying how fucking nervous I still was.
All of my fears and anxiety leading up to photo shoot day just disappeared when I walked into Kristen's studio. Kristen just makes you feel at home. Not judged, and certainly doesn't make you feel out of place. The entire time I was there, we were talking and laughing with each other about anything and everything! Like we have known each other for years! She definitely made it fun and comfortable and will be the only one I go to for my boudior photos!
This year has been my year of self-love and finding (and loving) myself again. As a mother of 3, having my first when I was only 19, doing things for myself never existed. Until now. I did this shoot, not only for my husband, but for myself. I love every picture she took. She caught the side of me that I don't see- that I used to choose not to see. I'd be lying if I said I haven't looked at my pictures multiple times already! [The advantage of buying all digitals and getting them the same day!] I will most definitely be back with Kristen again!
I want all the ladies to book their boudiour session. Don't wait until you are "in shape" or "have the right body type". Just having a body is enough! If you waited until then- you will never go. Just go do it- but only with Kristen! She makes it worth you time and money!”
