Miss M walked into my studio like so many of my clients—excited, a little nervous, and completely convinced she didn’t know what she was doing. She told me she didn’t know how to do her makeup (spoiler alert: that’s my specialty). She told me she didn’t know how to pose herself (spoiler alert #2: also my specialty). But let me tell you, the second we started shooting, you would have thought she was born for this.
There are some clients who just get it—who tap into something deep and innate the moment they step in front of the camera. Miss M was one of those women. She was a sultry goddess, a natural in every sense of the word. It felt like she was doing my job for me, effortlessly slipping into poses, embracing her own power, and delivering the kind of looks that stop time. She owned her session, but what made it even more incredible? We laughed the entire time.
Boudoir isn’t about being serious or trying to force yourself into some hyper-sexualized version of yourself. It’s about having fun, embracing the experience, and feeling like an absolute queen in the process. And Miss M did just that. I made sure to include a ton of laughing shots in her gallery because, let’s be real, a smile is just as sexy as a sultry stare—and she nailed both. There’s something so magnetic about a woman who’s simply enjoying herself, letting go, and stepping into her confidence with ease.
But let’s talk about who Miss M is beyond these stunning photos. She’s a mama of three, which means she’s already a superhero in my book. She’s also an amazing hairstylist (which explains why her hair looked like something out of a dream in every shot). And, if that wasn’t enough? She got up to work out before her session. I mean… what?! Superwoman energy, through and through.
I sincerely hope this won’t be her last session with me because women like Miss M are the reason I do this. Boudoir is about capturing every version of yourself—the powerful, the soft, the playful, the bold.
