Busting Excuses: Why you deserve a Boudoir Experience

Busting excuses.

when we get nervous, we make excuses. we make excuses not to take care of ourselves or treat ourselves to the things we want. sometimes life is just busy, we’re too crazy at work, or have to buy something for someone else. sometimes it’s just more important to spend time or money on our spouse than ourselves. i hear so many excuses like, “I want to lose 15lbs first!” or “I just don’t have the money right now.” or even “i don’t look like those girls, i could never pull that off.” i wanted to write this to show you that no matter the excuse, you can do it! let me show you that no matter the excuse, i can bust it! you’re worthy of self love.

“I don’t have enough time.”

it’s important ot REMEMBER that if you aren’t taking care of yourself mentally, you’re not going to be able to handle taking care of everyone else. it make sense, but it’s so much easier said than done. believe it or not, i make the same excuses, always grinding to get everything done for everyone else and often forgetting to take care of myself in the process. sometimes we just need someone to grab our face and say “slow down, take care of yourself, the world will still be here tomorrow, and it won’t be on fire.”

at a boudoir shoot, you’re able to breathe and focus on loving yourself for a few hours. think of all the energy you’ll save on a daily basis if you stop comparing YOURSELF to others and stop worrying what others think when they look at you. you’ll be able to see yourself the way your lovers have always seen you - curvy, gorgeous, exceptional.

“I’m not where I want to be weight wise… I don’t look like a model… I’m not pretty enough…”

“i know victoria’s secret, girl you wouldn’t believe she’s an old man who lives in ohio making money off of girls like me. Cashing in on body issues, selling skin and bones with big boobs. I know victoria’s secret… she was made up by a dude!”

did you know that body type portrayed in advertising as the ideal is POSSESSED naturally only by 5% of american females? only five percent!

i will say this over and over again: why do you have to be a certain size to love yourself? why do you have to fit a strangers idea of perfection to love your own body? why are you comparing your size to everyone else when no two women are the same?

i think it’s amazing to have goals and want to be healthy, but tha doens’t look the same on every body type. you cannot hate your body into being “perfect” any more than you can hate yourself into loving yourself. Have a boudoir experience to celebrate the way you are right now, and then have one when you lose that 15lbs to celebrate how far you’ve come!

“I never feel sexy or sensual anymore, so a boudoir session must not be for me.”

wrong.

this excuse is the exact reasons you should have a boudoir experience.

often times, we lose touch with our femininity or sexuality when life gets crazy because of health + kids + work. it happens a lot and is absolutely normal. a great way to find this side of yourself again is to have a boudoir experience and recreate that spark inside yourself. i can show you still have that sexy energy inside you, she just needs help coming back out to play.

another thing to remember is that you don’t have to wear super sexy clothes or lingerie. if you feel like this doesn’t show your personality, then there are so many outfit ideas! once you book in, i’ll send you a whole guide dedicated to picking your outfits based on your body shape and taste!
