Financing Your Fierceness: Payment Plan Options for Your Boudoir Session
It’s no secret: boudoir sessions can be expensive. They’re well worth the investment to the clients who have researched and are ready for an exceptional experience, but money is still money and clients need to be able to make financially responsible decisions that won’t cause stress on their everyday life.
What are my financing options for my boudoir session?
I’m happy to say there are several options you can use!
✨ All major debit and credit cards
At Kristen Jones Boudoir, we accept any major credit or debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, etc.) so you can use your own card to get cash back or other kinds of perks! A boudoir session AND air miles? Yes please!
✨ Afterpay Pay in 4 OR Afterpay Monthly
This is a BRAND NEW option at Kristen Jones Boudoir and will make your financing options easier than ever! Simply choose what you want to put on your prepayment plan and we’ll send you the invoice of the total amount, including taxes. Then select the Afterpay option, where you’ll be able to decide on the best financing option for you: 4 interest free payments (up to $2000) OR monthly payments with an APR (up to $4000). This is readily made in your invoice, all you have to do is follow the prompted steps.
✨ Affirm’s One-Time Debit Card
Similar to Afterpay, Affirm will allow you to apply for a one-use debit card when you create an account with them. Simply follow a few steps:
Create your account with Affirm (if you don’t have one already)
Discover your spending power (this should be on your dashboard if you have an account already)
Type in “Kristen Jones Boudoir” into the search bar that says “where are you shopping?”
Scroll ALL the way down to the very bottom of the search options, where it will say “Create a virtual card: Pay with a one-time virtual card”
Type in the amount you’d like to finance ($3000, for example)
Verify your identity using a drivers license or passport
Pick a payment plan
Review and confirm!
You’ll then receive a one-time card number to use to pay your invoice in full. You can make payments on your Affirm account and have your products while you’re paying off your balance!
Affirm guarantees that their pre-qualification will never affect your credit, only your payment history and loan amount (the amount you actually spend) will.

✨ In-House Monthly Payment Plan
Avoid the middle man and put your balance on a prepayment plan. Choose your prepayment investment ($2500, for example) and break it down over the months prior to your session.
Example: if you book your session for June 15th, 2024 on December 15th, 2023 your prepayment plan will break down as follows:
First payment due: January 1, 2024
Payment amount: $250 + Ohio Sales Tax
Last payment due: May 1, 2024
Session date: June 15th, 2024
Any upgrades you’d like to make can be done before or on the day of your session.
Postpayment plans are not available at this time. All balances must be paid in full at your same-day image reveal & ordering appointment. Affirm or Afterpay can be used to finance any upgrades on the day of your session.
How it all works:
1. Choose your session date
Sessions must take place in 2024 and you can book from May - December 2024.
2. Pay your session fee:
The session fee is $149 and is due to book your session. This includes everything mentioned above and more!
3. Sign your contract:
Sessions are not booked until your session fee is paid and contract signed.
4. Choose your collection:
All clients utilize pre-session payment plans or payment is collected in full. Save an additional $250 on your collection by paying in full by November 30, 2023! Minimum investment is $1500 before Ohio Sales Tax.
5. Prep for your session:
I’ll send you a series of emails that will help you prepare (from head to toe!) including your wardrobe guide, stretching tips and ideas, hair and makeup suggestions, and more!
6. Session Day:
Your session will take place at my studio in Akron, OH. You’ll start your day at 8:45am with hair and makeup, then come to the studio for your session at 11am. Your photo session will last 60-90 minutes total. After that, we’ll take a quick lunch break. Then you’ll see your gallery of fully retouched images, choose your album design, pick out any additional add-ons, and you’ll be all set!
PLEASE NOTICE: Post payment plans are not available at this time. All upgrades must be made on the day of your session.
7. Delivery:
Digital images will be delivered on the day of your session. Your printed products (album + wall art) will be delivered within 7-10 business days.
